Dear Beloveds

It brings me immense joy and gratitude to welcome you to our vibrant and devoted community of gospel music enthusiasts, The Family of Eight. Since our inception in 2019, we have embarked on a journey fueled by a fervent dedication to serving God through our collective talents and voices. Our purpose, deeply rooted in faith, binds us together in a mission to spread the message of love, hope, and redemption through the powerful medium of music.

As the president of this esteemed group, I am humbled by the commitment and passion each of you brings to our musical endeavors. From our monthly In-House worship sessions to our electrifying annual concerts, we have strived to create an atmosphere where the presence of God is tangibly felt, where souls are stirred, and hearts are transformed. Our vision is clear: to lead others into the very presence of the Lord, igniting within them a fervent passion for Jesus Christ and His Kingdom.

Together, we stand as ambassadors of faith, seeking to glorify God through culturally relevant and inspiring worship experiences. As we continue this journey, let us remain steadfast in our mission to share the gospel, encourage believers, and provide a platform for all to express their gifts in worship. Is the Family Of Eight a new church?

No. We are not a new church. The Family Of Eight is an independent group in Doha-Qatar created to reach out to the nation and the world in songs of worship.

It was created based on a revelation that God gave to one of its members by name Mr. Opeyemi Ayodele in a night vision confirming his passion and desire to serve God in songs of worship and gospel music.

Is this group meant for only eight members

Not at all. The group came into being because many are gifted with the same or similar passion and vision, so they decided to come up with a group named “THE FAMILY OF EIGHT” which is made up of members from different assemblies or churches or congregations.

The “Eight” simply means only eight of the members will be on the stage to perform at a time.

What is the purpose of this group, since there are music group out there?

The purpose for which the group was created (The Family of Eight), is to bring together talented and gifted brethren who are willing and committed to serving God with their talents.

Why should I choose you over other groups out there

We desire worship experiences that bring others into the very presence of the Lord, thereby allowing a profound opportunity for the Holy Spirit to touch souls, heal hearts, break the chains of bondage and ignite a passion for Jesus and the work of His Kingdom.
